United Nations improvement
The need for improving the United Nations and updating its main decision-making bodies, in order to better reflect contemporary realities. Our proposal is:
Alignment of G20 Initiatives for UN Modernization:
We suggest aligning G20 initiatives to act as a catalyst for a potential modern adjustment of the United Nations. This collaborative effort could enhance the effectiveness and adaptability of the UN to better meet the evolving needs of our interconnected world.
UN Security Council:
To address the space sector and the pressing issue of resource security, we propose making it a focal point within the UN Security Council. Also reconsidering the current veto system, initiating reforms, and modernizing the composition of the Security Council by adding more members, fostering a more inclusive representation.
Enriching the UN General Assembly's Agenda:
Our proposal includes bringing more diverse topics to the UN General Assembly for voting and potential joint implementation. Emphasizing respect for civilization diversity and the right of every state to determine its own development model, this approach seeks to create a more inclusive platform for global decision-making.
Exploring a Virtual UN Parliamentary Assembly:
We recommend testing a virtual UN Parliamentary Assembly for specific subjects to adapt to the changing nature of global governance. This innovative approach aims to facilitate efficient discussions and decision-making processes.
Strengthening the International Criminal Court (ICC) and International Court of justice (ICJ):
To empower the ICC and ICJ further, we advocate for more countries to join the Rome Statute, ensuring a fair and comprehensive legal framework that upholds justice for all nations and people.
